The third round of the FIM Snowcross World Championship was held last Saturday at Oppdal, one of the most beautiful spots of Norway.

Swedish Peter Ericson made the most of this round by topping the overall classification, followed by Johan Eriksson, second, and Fredrik Granberg, third.

Ericson increased his advantage in the Championship standings, and has now 28 points more than runner up Johan Eriksson.

In the first Heat Johan Eriksson was third, behind the duo Ahmasalo-Ericson. Swedish Fredrik Granberg rode his Ski-Doo to a consistent fourth place, ahead of Finn Niko Korsumaeki.Ski-Doo mounted Stein Kristian Strand was sixth, being the first Norwegian rider.

In the final Heat, Polaris mounted Marcus Evensson tried to catch Ericson but finished second. Fellow Polaris rider Johan Eriksson was third, and Fredrik Granberg conquered another fourth place. Viktor Stenman was fifth, ahead of the fastest Norwegian rider, Stein Kristian Strand, who was once again sixth.

There is just one round left before the end of the Championship. The final will be held in Sweden, Falun, on Saturday the 31st of March.
