Entry deadline is set to April 30th. The money prize has been raised to Euros 60.000,00, 30.000,00 of which for the two new categories OK-N J and OKN. The Live TV coverages and the reports on the Gazzetta dello Sport and Corriere dello Sport have been confirmed too.




 
Entries are now accepted for the ACI Karting 2023 Championship which will involve the following rounds:


1st round – May 21 – Cremona Circuit, San Martino del Lago (Cremona)
MINI Gr.3, OK-N, OK-N Junior, KZ2, KZN

2nd round – June 18 – La Conca, Muro Leccese (Lecce)
MINI Gr.3, OK-N, OK-N Junior, KZ2, KZN

3rd round – July 16 – Kartodromo Val Vibrata, Sant’Egidio alla Vibrata (Teramo)
MINI Gr.3, OK-N, OK-N Junior, KZ2, Legend

4th round – August 27 – Circuito Internazionale Napoli, Sarno (Salerno)

SUBSCRIPTIONS TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP AND ALL 5 ROUNDS ARE ACCEPTED UNTIL APRIL 30TH 2023.



Many are the new features presented by the regulation established for 2023, starting from the entry procedures to be strictly carried out by April 30th by completing the form available on the ACI Sport website at the address https://iscrizioni.acisport.it/.



REGISTRATION FOR A SINGLE CHAMPIONSHIP RACE.


It will still be possible to register for individual races of the Italian Championship. Still, unlike last year, the registration fee for a single race of the Championship must be paid directly to the Organizers of each event, together with the registration fee for the race.



REGISTRATION FEES FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP.


The registration fees for the Championship to be paid to ACI Sport S.p.A. (via bank transfer to ACI Sport S.p.A., BANCA DI CREDITO COOPERATIVO DELLA PROVINCIA ROMANA, Campagnano di Roma Branch, IBAN:
IT69J0878738950000000050986 - BIC SWIFT: ICRAITRRLV0) are divided as follows::

- Euro 400,00 + VAT for KZ2, MINI Gr.3, OK-N, OK- N Junior
- Euro 300,00 + VAT for KZN (Under, Over)
- Euro 300,00 + VAT for Legend.


RACE REGISTRATION.


For each event, the race registration form must be completed and sent to the address of the individual Organizers by the Sunday before the race, accompanied by the following registration fee:

Euro 350.00 + VAT for the 125 KZ2, OK-N, OK-NJ, MINI Gr.3 for each race.
Euro 250.00 + VAT for the 125 KZN (Under - Over) for each race.
Euro 150.00 + VAT for the Legend (100-125).


Those who have not completed the registration for the entire championship must also pay, to the Organizer, the fee of 150.00 + VAT required for the registration for a single race of the Italian Championship.




THE TWO NEW CATEGORIES OK-N JUNIOR AND OK-N.



Among the major novelties of the 2023 edition, the Italian Championship sees the debut of the two new international categories OK-N Junior and OK-N, which have already started participating with great success in the Italian Zone Cup.

Introduced by the FIA and shared by the Italian Federation in the Italian Championship 2023, they will represent the only two direct-drive categories alongside MINI (MINI Gr.3 and MINI Gr.3 Under 10) and KZ (KZ2 and KZN Under and Over).



THE INCREMENTAL POINTS.


The championship scoring system has changed compared to previous editions. The points system is still based on the positions obtained in Race 1 and Race 2, but the score in 2023 is incremental from the first to the last race.

It will be possible to acquire the best 8 scores in the 5 events scheduled for the MINI Gr.3, MINI Gr.3 Under 10, OK-N Junior, OK-N, KZ2 categories, and the best 4 scores in the 3 events scheduled for the KZN Under and Over.


Finally, in the KZN Over category, there will be an award at the end of each race for those over 50. For the Legend categories (100 and 125), the best 4 results in the 3 events scheduled can be acquired.



50% INCREASE FOR THE MONEY PRIZE: EURO 60.000,00.


Also in 2023, a monetary prize will be awarded for the top three positions in the final ranking of the Italian Championship. For the new season it has been increased by 20,000.00 Euros compared to the previous edition and now totals Euro 60,000.00, divided as follows:



OK-N Junior: 1st Euro 7,500.00; 2nd Euro 4,000.00; 3rd Euro 2,000.00.

OK-N: 1st Euro 7,500.00; 2nd Euro 4,000.00; 3rd Euro 2,000.00.

KZ2: 1st Euro 4,000.00; 2nd Euro 2,000.00; 3rd Euro 1,000.00.

KZ2 Under 18 (not cumulative with KZ2 prizes): 1st Euro 3,000.00; 2nd Euro 2,000.00; 3rd Euro 1,000.00.

MINI Gr.3: 1st Euro 3,500.00; 2nd Euro 2,000.00; 3rd Euro 1,000.00.

MINI Gr.3 Under 10: 1st Euro 3,500.00; 2nd Euro 2,000.00; 3rd Euro 1,000.00.

KZN Under: 1st Euro 2,000.00; 2nd Euro 1,000.00; 3rd Euro 500.00.

KZN Over: 1st Euro 2,000.00; 2nd Euro 1,000.00; 3rd Euro 500.00.

The communication program of ACI Sport for the Italian Championship 2023 includes as usual live TV on ACI Sport TV (SKY channel 228), live streaming and on-demand on the website www.acisport.it, live feed on the Facebook page of the Italian ACI Karting Championship.


Television specials within the ACI Sport Magazine on RAI Sport, national broadcasters, web and local broadcasters throughout the national territory. Broadcasts on MS Motor TV channel 229 SKY.
