Heavy rain slows proceedings at day one in Greinbach - Austria

Heavy rain hit the opening day of the Austrian GP from the early afternoon until the evening and that caused a slight change to the normal proceedings.
Following a race management decision the time practice of S1 and S2 were reduced to 30 minutes. In the S3 class the Free Practice 2 results were taken as the Qualifying results because the Qualifying session was not run. more >> |

The fourth Grand Prix of the season took off today at Olbia, in the beautiful island Sardinia.
Thierry Van Den Bosch and Adrien Chareyre made it a French domination as both took pole in the S1 and S2 class respectively.
In the UEM SuperMoto Championship Olivier Scheen took pole in the S3 class with Heino Meusburger taking pole in the Open class.

A very hot Gran Premio de España Ciudad de Valladolid saw both World Championship leaders Thierry Van Den Bosch and Davide Gozzini hand the red plate to Bernd Hiemer and Adrien Chareyre respectively.
The latter was the S2 winner courtesy of a double moto win while Ivan Lazzarini dominated the S1 class for the first time since his debut in the class in 2007.
