Top 3 driver quotes after Hungarian GP race 2015

26.07.2015: Sebastian Vettel: winner: An Incredible day. This victory is for Jules. It was a very difficult race. This

Sebastian Vettel: winner: An  Incredible day.

This victory is for Jules. It was a very difficult race. This race is for Jules Bianchi who would have been earlier or later part of our team.

It was an incredible start. To have a First one-two for Ferrari in five years would have felt great. Kimi did a great job against the Mercedes in the first corners.

Then he lost the K. and the system did not allow him to finish. IT would have been a one-two IT is a great day for Ferrari but not as great as we would have liked. We were driving a very consistent race and we should have finished one-two today and that would answer to many critics.

I am also very proud to take the win on a Grand Prix I had never won before.

When the safety car came out, it made it more interesting in the end. We had a great start. The car was difficult but great to drive. I thank the team for the recovery until today. This win is for the team.

In the end we have a common passion. We are very different passion. We love racing. It was a tough start. It was a tough week and to think about Jules again on the grid, it was difficult to be on the rhythm again. There is not a lot of space for anything else. We do what we love to do.

Mentionning Senna’s record is something that I cannot put in words Today is a win for Jules and that is bigger than anything else.

For us, for the team, for myself, it was a very hairy start and a difficult moment with the safety car. We lost unfortunately Kimi. We have great performance and it is great to come up on top.

I am happy to be winning here. We did not have the traditional Hungarian trophee in Porcelaine.

I was looking for the traditional porcelaine trophee. I was happy to almost win in 2010. But it was not the Porcelaine trophee.

I like the track. Lots of German flags and lots of Austrians. There were lots of Ferrari flags.

It was great to take the win today.

The Ferrari had a great pace.

We had to run the prime tires at some points. We knew that option option and primes was a risk with safety car. But we had to do it the way we did. Friday was a bad day for us. Today was really good. We were in a clean race and clean air most of the time. Lewis was quicker though. This is how it goes sometimes.

For sure Dr Marko would love me to be third and not first...but we have lots of mutual respect. I know that he has received a lot of critisicim for the junior program he is running. But I am sure he is happy today.

Hungary is a special place for me. My last world series by Renault was here. I missed the flight for my first tF1 ime with Toro Rosso and that did not make me popular. 2001 I had a problem in the safety car period. We always had a great car since, but could not really turn it around. I am very happy and it is a turning point in my Hungarian GP Career.

Daniil Kvyat. 2nd
:   My first podium in my second season of F1. A tough race. Fantastic to be on the podium. The second place goest to Jules and the family. We lost a great guy and a fantastic person. We deserve this podium to Jules and we lost a great driver. My thought are with him but it was not easy .

After turn one I though I was out and my race was over. Never give up- ...I learnt what it means.I though my race was over. Still it was a great feeling. Strategy was the key.

It was going in the right direction in the second part of the race I , learnt never to give up whatever happens. We have had such a hard year with the team. The mechanics have been working sor hard. They deserve this result I must give credit to Daniel. He had a better chance for victory than I did.

My tires were not in good conditions. Daniel tried to go for it. That was the right thing to do. I was able to take every opportunity. Sometimes you are fast and sometimes you are slow. I am sure that Dr Marko is happy with the result.

I did my best. We all share this podium

It is great to be here on a circuit where it is a bit of a home race before the Russian Grand Prix.

It was always a pleasure to be here even if there has been bad races and good races. And today is a real special day.

Daniel Ricciardo. 3rd
- Tough fighting today. The fighting on- track was difficult. It was a crazy race. There was contact on the restart with Lewis and with Nico. I left it all on the track. I owe that race to Jules. This podium feels like a victory. I gained some strength today.

I love fierce battles. There are lots of mixed emotions. I am still greatful to be on the podium. It has been a long year. To have 2 of our cars on the podium is fantastic. I had the pace and the option that was nearly déjà vu I come third before I realize we had a chance to win. I feel I drove with a heavy and strong heart. I have no regrets.

I dropped to 7th in the opening lap. Trade mark Ricciardo beats everything. It was a crazy race from the first corner with Bottas. It was a big hit. We had a big pace still. Then the team let me go through. I knew we could do a better pace.

Then after the Bottas incident the pace was pretty good. In the re-start we tried to get around Lewis.

We had more damage after my sidepod was damaged. Nevertheless I am third. I was close but not close enough from Nico.

To be honest Nico left me room on the entry. But the entry, I do not know what happened. We made contact. He had a puncture and I had a damage to my front wing.

Definitely this race is for Jules. I left everything on the track Watching us the Russian took third.

I drove inspired by Jules . It as emotional. This one is definitely for Jules . I hope he finds some happiness for this week end and moves on.

From Friday morning the car felt good. The updates we brought were great. A lot of positive. It is nice to have the team to give them some positivity.

We made some good progress with the engine. It was not easy on Friday because we had an old power unit. But then we were able to show more progress and that will be less questions for us in SPA:

You never know what Dr Marko is thinking but I am sure he is happy.
