Unfall bei Eifel Rallye Festival

18.07.2019: Gegen 15.15 Uhr kam beim Shakedown ein Teilnehmer nach rechts von der Strecke ab und fuhr aus bislang ungeklärter Ursache in die Zuschauer, die sich ordnungsg

Gegen 15.15 Uhr kam beim Shakedown ein Teilnehmer nach rechts von der Strecke ab und fuhr aus bislang ungeklärter Ursache in die Zuschauer, die sich ordnungsgemäß hinter den Absperrungen befanden. Dabei wurden nach dem aktuellen Kenntnisstand sechs Personen verletzt.

Unter den anwesenden Zuschauern waren zwei Ärzte und mehrere Rettungssanitäter, die sofort helfen konnten. Die vor Ort anwesenden Rettungskräfte des Veranstalters und die herbeigerufenen Kräfte waren ebenfalls in wenigen Minuten an der Unfallstelle.

Vier leichtverletzte Personen wurden in umliegende Krankenhäuser gebracht, von den beiden zwei Schwerverletzten wurde eine Person mit dem Rettungshubschrauber ins Krankenhaus gebracht.

Der Shakedown wurde sofort abgebrochen. Die Veranstaltung wird in einer dem Anlass angemessenen Weise mit dem Welcome-Abend ab 20.30 Uhr fortgesetzt.
