"The long night of the start-ups": Volkswagen Group Forum

More than 50 young companies from the mobility and  CleanTech sectors are to present themselves at DRIVE. Volkswagen Group Forum in Berlin.


The event is to start at 5 p.m. on September 3. All in all, more than 200 start-ups are to take part in the "long night of the start-ups" and about 4,000 visitors are expected.


"Volkswagen is always looking for new ideas and inspirations," said Dr. Martin Hofmann, Head of Group IT. "We want to support start-ups through partnership, provide them with feedback on their business ideas and enable them to establish contact with potential investors.


Jürgen Stackmann, Board of Management member for Sales and Marketing of the Volkswagen brand, added: "Volkswagen is rapidly evolving from an automaker into a holistic provider of sustainable mobility.


We look forward to some interesting impulses as a result of dialog with the start-ups.


The "long night of the start-ups" is one of the largest events for young entrepreneurs.


Apart from a two-day conference (September 2-3, IHK Ludwig-Erhard-Haus, Fasanenstraße 85), the event also includes a comprehensive exhibition which is to be held at the following venues on September 3:
