Where to watch the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2021
17.08.2021: Round four of the FIA WEC – the 24 Hours of Le Mans – kicks off on Saturday (21 August) and there are plenty of ways to watch the action via TV or the official FIA WEC app.

Round four of the FIA WEC – the 24 Hours of Le Mans – kicks off on Saturday (21 August) and there are plenty of ways to watch the action via TV or the official FIA WEC app.
ON TELEVISION
EUROPE
French TV channel L’Equipe is now the official broadcaster for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The race will be broadcast live on L’Equipe starting at 13h30 local time on Saturday until 18h45, then again from 21h10 to 02h00. Coverage will continue on Sunday from 06h00 to 17h30.
The whole race will also be broadcast live on Eurosport across all of Europe including France, Germany and the UK On Wednesday 18 August, Qualifying will be shown from 18h45 CEST / 17h45 BST to 20h10 / 19h10 BST and Free Practice 2 will be aired from 21h50 to 00h10.
On Thursday 19 August, viewers will be able to watch Free Practice 3 from 13h50 to 17h10, Hyperpole from 20h50 to 21h45 and Free Practice 4 from 21h45 to 00h10. On Saturday 21 August, the warm-up will be televised from 09h15 to 10h00.
Elsewhere there will be various other boradcasters showing the race live including TV2 Denmark, ORF in Austria, RTL Nitro in Germany, RTL in Netherlands amd ViaSat Sport in in Scandinavia.
REST OF WORLD
Fox Sports will show the race live in South America, while Motortrend will broadcast the whole race in the USA, with Velocity and Discovery taking the majority of the 24 hours in Canada.
In Asia, there will be full coverage from J Sports in Japan and Tencent in China.
SuperSport is the broadcaster in Africa with the full race scheduled live on their channels.
Finally, Eurosport also have a pan-regional deal across Asia.
ON THE OFFICIAL FIA WEC APP
The FIA World Endurance Championship app is the perfect platform to bring news, live coverage and updates to fans around the world [geoblocked in USA and Canada].
It also features rankings, circuits, the teams, drivers, times, schedules, photos, videos, interviews, highlights, race results and social media coverage.
For an upgraded FIA WEC experience, fans can buy the Premium Season Pack available inside the app. Premium users can watch FIA WEC races live, see exclusive content filmed by onboard cameras, customise functions, and follow their favourite drivers and teams. They also enjoy access to full replays of every race.
The app has English commentary on its live transmissions and official WEC highlights shows, with 2013 World Endurance Champion Allan McNish giving his expert insights. McNish will be joined by an expanded commentary team for Le Mans including Martin Haven, Graham Goodwin, Darren Turner, Oliver Gavin and David Addison. Meanwhile, Louise Beckett and Duncan Vincent will support the team from the pitlane.
The official FIA WEC® app is available in both English and French. The menu is in French, English, Japanese, Chinese, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and Arabic.
