Sat 09:44 - SS10: Meeke

Third-fastest time for Meeke - 2.7sec down on Sordo.

Sat 09:42 - SS10: Neuville

Thierry is through the stage 0.3sec faster than his Hyundai team-mate, he stretches his hold on third. "I guess in the foggy conditions I was a bit faster, I slowed down a bit 750m from the finish because of a note mix-up but it's all good."

Sat 09:40 - SS10: Tänak

The Estonian can only match Sordo's split time at split one!

Sat 09:39 - SS10: Sordo

And the Spaniard is at stop control now, his score on the door is 6.1sec up on Ogier. Great time for him. "I lost a lot of time at the end, I'm not very happy. I lost time in the fog, at the end I drove not so good." Hmm, not quite as happy as he could have been after that.

Sat 09:37 - SS11: Al Qassimi

While we're waiting for the rest of the WRC field to finish SS10, Al Qassimi is already onto the 40km SS11 - Cuchilla Nevada-Rio Pintos

Sat 09:36 - SS10: Ogier

The M-Sport Ford man is through and he's 0.5sec up on Lappi. Fastest stage time so far. "These conditions are very difficult, I don't think anyone will like driving in these conditions!" Very true words from the Frenchman.

Sat 09:33 - SS10: Breen

The Irishman is through 1.8sec slower than Lappi. "The fog wasn't bad, it was just a negative feeling with everything in the car. I'm playing with all the settings but I can't get it right."

Sat 09:32 - SS10: Sordo

Dani Sordo is on a charge as well, he's 3.0sec up on Lappi at the first split

Sat 09:31 - SS10: Ogie
r

Ogier is through two of the three splits and he's green - 0.4sec faster than Lappi 8.13km in.

Sat 09:31 - SS10: Mikkelsen

The Norwegian emerges from the fog and he's 3.8sec slower than Lappi - looks like he's a small off in the closing kilometres because of the bad visibility. It looks like he has a puncture as well, he comments: "I just followed the trip and suddenly the corner was there!" He's right sound surprised, the on-board shows him on two wheels through that section.

Sat 09:27 - SS10: Lappi

Next through the flying finish is Lappi, he's 4.8sec up on Evans. "Yeah the first one was okay, I wasn't confident enough really. It is so difficult to be perfect on the first pass, it's all about learning."

Sat 09:25 - SS10: Mikkelsen

The sweeping is benefitting the cars down the order, Mikkelsen is 3.1sec up on Evans at the second split

Sat 09:24 - SS10: Evans

Elfyn completes now, 6.2sec up on the best time on the board at the moment. Bit of a clang of helmet on the camera as he gets interviewed: "Not nice to drive through this fog, we had one really big moment but it's okay - just missed the apex as we reached the fog."

Sat 09:22 - SS10: Lappi

Esapekka is well into this test and he's 6sec up at the 8.13km split.

Sat 09:21 - SS10: Suninen

We've got a second car pulling up to the stop control and it's Suninen, he's 36.1sec faster than Al Qassimi. How did he fine that stage? "It was a difficult stage, it is my first time here and the fog makes it tough - especially when we are in fifth or sixth gear."

Sat 09:19 - SS10: Al Qassimi

He crosses the line, and the time that flashes up is a 9m 15.5sec. He adds: "Very difficult in the fog, we can have long stretches with corners and it is difficult all the time - braking all the time."

Sat 09:18 - SS10: Al Qassimi

The Sheikh is closing in on stage end now and the fog is thick. You can just about pick out the C3's headlights looming into view.

Sat 09:17 - SS10: Evans

He's broken the beam at the first split, 10.6sec up on Al Qassimi at the moment

Sat 09:02 - SS10: Stage Guide

Without further ado, let's take a look at SS10 - starting at 0908hrs local time Los Gigantes / Cuchilla Nevada 1, 16.02km Los Gigantes has previously hosted the Dakar Rally and covers barren and remote territory as it peaks at 1912 metres after 12.40km of climbing from the start on bumpy, sandy and twisty roads.

It mixes wide and fast sections with twisty parts and covers the opening segment of a much longer stage driven 12 months ago.
