The last special of the 2015 Dakar, which was shortened to just 34 km, was finally won by Robby Gordon, who launched a big attack to beat Leeroy Poulter by 31 seconds and Emiliano Spataro by 34.

Nasser Al-Attiyah, third in today's final stage, has won his second Dakar rally after dominating the race from beginning to end.

With four cars across the line of the final special of the rally, shortened to 34 km, Emiliano Spataro holds the provisional lead, a puny three seconds ahead of homeboy Orlando Terranova.

Orlando Terranova's the first competitor to enter the final car special. The stage has also been shortened due to the rain and will end at CP1, a mere 34 km after the start.
