Guatemala's racing driver shows well with Dr Formula - Emidio Pesce rounds out the top spots for Danilo Rossi's Team




Ian Rodriguez made his Formula Regional European Championship debut for DR Formula claiming the second best time in the test-day at Imola. After finishing fourth in the morning session, the Guatemala's racing driver improved three tenths of seconds to set the second quick lap behind the series' runner-up Arthur Leclerc in the afternoon.



Rodriguez set the time of 1:39.394, 21 milliseconds slower than the brother of F1 Ferrari driver, looking forward his first official appearance in a race weekend at the same venue, on 21th/22th November.



At Imola, Rodriguez - who turned 20 last July - will race one of the two single-seaters fielded by the Danilo Rossi's squad, whilst regular driver Emidio Pesce will pilot the other car. The Milan-based young racer completed the Thursday's testing showing good pace, steadily improving to set his best time in 1:40.135.
