Sébastien Ogier (1st) said:
 
 “I didn’t drive so well on the last stage [SS6] so I cannot say that I am perfectly happy. We expected the conditions to be worse than they were, so I went with the full super soft and was a bit too defensive with my driving style.



For sure I could have done better in there, but on a rally like this you cannot be perfect all of the time. Looking at the loop overall, it’s been good and we’ve managed to increase the gap.”
 




Bryan Bouffier (7th) said:
 

“The feeling has got better throughout the day, but we know that there is still a long way to go before we can perform to the limit of the car. The fun is there and we have made some good tyres choices.



 There are so many elements that you need to consider here and even though the times are not fantastic, I am in the right range for my objectives which is good.”

“It’s been pretty slippery out there this morning, but an okay run from us. In fairness, we had been expecting a bit more rain, but over the loop as a whole the tyre choice worked out okay.


We had quite a bit of rain on the middle stage [SS4], but there were still some sections that were quite abrasive which was where we struggled. But overall, it wasn’t far off.”
