.....in the face of strong international competition

Formula 4 SEA – fueled by Petron –

The Malaysian tag team of Yoong and Musyaffa spoke strongly today about returning to glory at the seventh event, figuring their home advantage would give them the boost they need to top the podium.

“I am very excited to return home to Malaysia. Racing is my passion; it’s my life! And to win at home, I couldn’t ask for anything more and I hope to do everyone proud!” exclaimed Malaysian F4 winner Muizz Musyaffa.

It has been several years since national star Isyraf Danish won on home ground in 2016 and these newcomers may be on their way to retrieving the crown for Malaysia. In Madras Alister proved he has the pace and Muizz is steadily returning to form to pose a real threat to the championship leaders.

But the speed force is strong with these F4 racers and there are plenty of other competitors who will be looking to taste the gold. Enter Shihab Al Habsi, Lucca Allen and Elias Seppanen - three international drivers who are neck to neck in the championship standings.

The Omani speedster is hot off winning the Event 6 title in India and determined to double down on his performance! But Lucca Allen dominated in Sepang earlier in the season and of course Seppanen is poised to close the points on the championship leader to claim victory for Finland!

The weekend will again see the four-race format that has helped F4 SEA become one of the biggest F4 championships in the world, with a whopping forty races this year alone. As usual the event will be live streamed on Facebook, with two races on both Saturday and Sunday.

Be sure to tune in to see the rumoured return of up-and-coming Australian star Josh Smith, who may just mix things up amongst the favourites, and Amer Harris whose phenomenal first outing could be enough to get him back on track before the end of the season.

“It’s been my passion for the last 30 years in Asia to develop Motorsport Heroes. We’ve already seen 23 drivers in F4 SEA this year, all fighting hard to realise their F1 dreams!” Peter Thompson – Event Organiser.

As Peter hinted, Formula 4 SEA was established to answer the question “Is Formula 1 Your Dream?” So, there’s bound to be some new faces added to the mix as well. Which is just another reason to follow the action, as its sets to be another stunning event
