After a successful year in 2022 with winning the prototype class title in the GT & Prototype Challenge and a P5 and several podium positions in the all-new ADAC Prototype Cup Germany, the luxembourgish team Racing Experience is preparing at full blast for this continuation in 2023.



The plan for 2023 is clear: Racing Experience will compete with at least one of their three fully ACO homologated LMP3 cars in the second edition of the ADAC Prototype Cup Germany. The goal is to build on the achievements of 2022 and to aim for even better results this year.



Discussions are ongoing with several drivers which are close to sign contracts, so that also a second car could be ligned up in short notice. Nevertheless Racing Experience is still open for requests.



Compared to the previous year, the ADAC Prototype Cup Germany will not include only four race weekends, but even six, competing on well-known german circuits with two stopovers in the Netherlands.



A big highlight of the season will be the races at Oschersleben, at the F1 circuit in Zandvoort and at the Norisring, as the Prototype Cup Germany will race in the course of the DTM Series. The other races will be a part of other ADAC racing weekends.



The first driver of Racing Experience's lineup is already announced with Wolfgang Payr, who is not an unknown in motorsports. Having finished the Dakar Rallye with a motorbike in 2022, he also competed in Formula 3 in the past. Over the last years he extended his experiences in the Sportscar Challenge, where he already was able to catch a whiff of prototype racing.



In 2023 he is more than ready for this new challenge in the high competitive series in Germany and all the team is happy to welcome Wolfgang in their ranks.
 


Christian Hauser, Racing Experience Team Owner said, "Having heard about the second edition of the ADAC Prototype Cup Germany the choice was quite clear for us to compete again in this high-professional series.



 The level of competition is comparable to the European Le Mans Series or the Michelin Le Mans Cup, as many teams compete in both championships with the same driver line-up. With good results in 2022 we are sure to improve even more in 2023. With Wolfgang we got an experienced driver with us and we are happy to work with him for this season!"
 


Wolfgang Payr, Driver Racing Experience said, "Motorsports has been a part of me for many years now. Having raced in different race cars and as well on the motorbike, my decision for this year was to enlarge my knowledge in prototype racing. Racing Experience proofed not only last year, that they are very competitive and a supportive team with which I can reach my personal goals.



The ADAC Prototype Cup Germany is for me a very desirable opportunity, as the race venues as well as the overall program together with the DTM definitely matches my intentions. I am very looking forward to the races and to work together with the team!"
