Multiple BRDC British Formula 3 race winner Louis Foster will drive for the reigning champion CryptoTower Racing Team backed by the prestigious Motopark squad for a step up to the Euroformula Open Championship in 2021.



Foster - sponsored and backed by Copart, a global leader in vehicle remarketing and recycling - was the runner-up in the 2018 Ginetta Junior Championship during his first year of car racing, before taking six wins in his first taste of single-seaters in British F4 the following year.  



His main campaign in 2020 was his first in BRDC British F3 where Foster - studying at Lord Wandsworth College alongside his racing commitments - finished third after three wins, four poles and six podiums as the championship's best rookie.



Having raced for Double R in his first two seasons of single-seater racing in the UK, the ambitious Brit will maintain his record of making a huge step up in series each year, racing in Europe full-time for the first time in his career in 2021.

During the truncated 2020 season, Hampshire-based Foster won races in the Australasia-based MRF Challenge and in a brief appearance in the Euroformula Open Championship when he won on his debut at Spa.



The CryptoTower Racing Team entered Euroformula Open for the first time last year, and with a technical alliance with Motopark, it won the championship at its first attempt.



It was the first Japanese team to enter Euroformula Open and is headed by team principal Kazuya Sakamoto, based out of Motopark’s German headquarters.



Motopark has played a role in developing top drivers all over motorsport, including current Formula 1 drivers Max Verstappen,Valtteri Bottas and Yuki Tsunoda, as well as reigning Formula E champion Antonio Felix da Costa.



The Motopark team’s experience in developing young talent should be the perfect place for the ambitious Foster to reach his potential.

The championship is set to compete at nine venues in 2021 with 27 races across Europe. The first round will take place at Portimao on the same weekend as Formula 1, meaning Louis will get the chance to impress the team bosses in motorsport’s most prestigious paddock.
