Michael Nykjær extended his lead in the battle for this year’s Danish Touringcar Championship, when – following a victory in one of the two preceeding qualifying heats – he dominated the final at Padborg Park, wh weiter >>
It was hot - very hot. Early in the morning the track temperature was high predicting unpleasent conditions when the DTC-cars would hit the track.
In the middle of the afternoon the gauge reached 53.5 degree celsius which made the tarmac very soft in the paddock but more importnt raised the concerns about motor temperature during line-up and close position fights.
A very important aspect of the participation in Danish Touringcar Championship is the sponsor and customer relations which requires its very own organisation to run simultaneous with the racing. Arrangements for tent, tables, food, beverages etc. in weiter >>
Several top drivers retired from DTC race at Sturup Raceway
Round two of the Danish Touringcar Championship at Sturup Raceway in Southern Sweden was a very dramatic affair.
