Chevrolet Motorsport Danmark -Let’s get them!
Michael Outzen is a very popular driver In motorsport as well as other sports, preparation has a great effect to the results. Chevrolet Motorsport Denmark is aware of this. That is why the foundation for the next season already is made. The two cars driven by Henrik Lundgaard and Pontus Mörth are for sale, and the team has bought two of this year’s WTCC-Chevrolets, which will be delivered after the Macau race. Henrik Lundgaard recently extended his contract and now, Chevrolet Motorsport Denmark is ready to present the second driver for next year. The girls adore him, the competitors fear him, and words like "perfectionist", "talent" and "charmer" fits him like a glove. Michael Outzen drives the second Chevrolet Lacetti in the Danish Touringcar Championship in 2008!
- I had no doubts, Michael Outzen explains, and he continues: This year, the Chevrolet team showed that they had the best cars, the best crew and an extraordinary teamwork when they are under heavy pressure. The dialogue with Kent Bo Steffensen was also very positive. Despite the fact that the 25-year-old talent has never raced a front wheel driven race car before, he is certain that he can handle the challenge: - Once upon a time, a wise man said "A real race driver can go fast in both front- and rear wheel driven cars", and I consider myself a real race driver, so that won’t be a problem! Michael laughs.
