Im Qualifikationstraining von Zolder sah es überhaupt nicht gut aus. Die GS Dodge Viper (knapp 600 PS) blieb mit Elektroproblemen draußen an der Strecke liegen. Kein Zeittraining und so konnte Startfahrer Kenneth Heyer von Platz 35 nur aus der Boxengasse starten.
